An out of date post from "Facebook" below. But every now and then Landrover give away free LRE days and mention this on their facebook site. If you "Like" LR on Facebook you get notified of any new "free" experiences on offer. There is no sales pitch when you make the booking

Any chance? I have a new LR on order and my dealer is not offering an LRE day... I think I pinned him down too much on the car price!!! |

Have a think, there might be homes for them closer to home and one is nearly a year old. Newer ones have a letter then a five digit number. The older one is just a five digit number, although they all look the same otherwise. Dont know if there is a sell by date if you know what I mean.

To prove driving qualification I would have to show my licence so that will show them I am not the person named.

You don't have to show your licence, but you do need to sign a form declaring you have one, and you are fit, give next of kin contact details etc I confirmed this with LR central office and on the day as one of the chaps I took along couldn't find his.

Hey, next time I am into my miscreant, deliquent dealer, I'll ask for some blank ones. After we cleared the air, they cant do enough for me now, although I dont doubt my face is on the managers dart board or at the bottom of the staff toilet bowl. |

I'm going to try and tap the dealer up for at least one of these this week when I pick the car up. Failing that I'll pay for it as I think, being that this is my first Land Rover, a familiarisation would be a good idea.

When you book you will be asked which vehicle you wish to use. Did my last 2 in Freelander 2 one at Chilterns near Milton Keynes and the second at East of England near Corby. Both FL2 were HSE auto, one a TD4 and the second an SD4. |
