It can be removed by two buttons, inserted by one button, the best seat I've ever used, so quick to take in and out or to clean, but about 300 quid.

No Ralphy, wish it was. The equivilant Britax one can be got, about 50 quid cheaper mind you. Trouble is unless you look into the specs, one looks much the same as another.

That said, I do have another two Britax ones for slightly older children. Can't remember if thats a LR/Britax one or the equivilant Britax one. I paid about 150 quid each for them and used them three times. Flogged one and one now sits in the garage. I remember I purchased the three together and it was 3p short of 600 quid - ouch!

I'll have a look for the link, might be tomorrow. I remember getting them online, Duckworths comes to mind, but I could be wrong. Might even go to the car and take a photo!

That was part of our problem with it; the Monza was for the CRV, with a Britax KidPlus for my then Puma, the KidPlus was much kinder to the seatbelt, and nicer made, the headrest cover on the Monza is very poor. Take great care when buying child seats. Although all manufactures of such safety seats make proud claims of meeting various specifications (i.e re UK - BSI Kit Marks / EU Code ECE R-44) their performance when tested by independent bodies, for example in the UK "Which" reveal discrepancies in their abilities in actual crash tests. So my advice is before you buy check the independent test results first. And always buy an Isofix seat.

The LR product is a Britax/Romer product. Britax/Romer Isofix seats perform very well in tests. We have a Britax Isofix child seat - but there are others equally capable. Remember that child seats are age and weight dependent to achieve their safety performance capabilities.

The 2010 ADAC safety test results highlight the following:
1: Poor Performing Brands: PEG - SAFETY FIRST - CASUAL PLAY
2: Generally Okay to Good Brands (but caution - check out very carefully actual model for your child): RECARO - MAXI COSI - CHICCO - CONCORD
3: Generally Consistent Top Performing Brands (again check actual model to ensure it is right for your child and is a top performing model - these companies do sometimes produce a second rater!): KIDDY - JANE - CYBEX - BRITAX/ROMER

Finally what can cause confusion is that not all brands are available in every market, and, that they sometimes change the model name for different markets.

Class 1 (Gruppe 1) seats for children from 9months to 4 years



Check the class 2-3 seats for children from 4 years up.

These seats are narrow, important if you do need 3 seats in a car!, but you can adjust them in width and height.



I do have 2 of the class 2-3 seats, the class 1 will be soon replaced by another class 2-3.

All three fits in the FL2. Was a condition to buy FL2!!! 3 seats didn't fit other SUVs I tried!

First one is the same as Britax Safefix - not tried this one, we got a pair of DuoPlus instead, the leg can make it tricky to fit to some vehicles.
