nice one Thumbs Up

do you pay for the car in full before the VAT rise? as when they raise the final invoice will it not be the current VAT rate at that time?

I paid the full finance deposit on ours yesterday; as it was called across and registered we are clear of the VAT monkey, even if the transporter chaps and chapesses may not be working until the New Year

From memory, when Kersoene was zero rated, you could pay for it in advance and avoid the VAT when it went up to 5%, despite the fact it wasn't delivered until months after the VAT went up.

According to the Land Rover website:

We’ll cover the VAT
To help you to be better prepared for winter, we’ll cover the VAT increase if you order a new Land Rover before 31 December and take delivery before 31 March
