Trackers

Anyone fitted a tracker recently?

I'm interested in hard wiring one of the cheaper portable types to keep running costs down but wondering if this is easy to do and whether there are any snags (eg my wife's TF has a 'proper' tracker but suffers from a flat battery if we leave the car in the garage for a few weeks as in the recent snowy weather when it wasn't up to the road conditions!).

Also does the heated windscreen cause problems with the signal? Freelander 2 SD4 HSE - Ipanema Sand - MD co-pilot - Springer Spaniel in boot - Swift Challenger on the back!

Get an insurance quote with the tracker and without, see if its worthwhile getting the tracker fitted, subsciption fee etc.
