They will continue to beep as long as the sensor thinks there is an obstacle within range and there is power going to the sensor. As yuo say only way to switch off the beep is press the button on the dash or turn the engine off. However, when you turn the engine back on they will beep unless you've managed to move away from the obstacle while switched off which is unlikely. |

My manual fl2 did exactly the same as your khewitt, you want it to beep out of gear, what if you was parking on a hill and rolled forward out of gear

I'm not saying it's not normal, what he says in his post that I highlighted in RED ours doesn't do and thats on both the FL2 & the D3 |

The GS stops when you put the car in neutral as we do not have a deactivate button on the dash. |

Mmm I wondering if they have changed the way it works on new models, or the button is therefore cars with front sensors

My manual was a SE with front sensors too and a button
