England 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Stornoway Grey

Most people like roof rails I think.[/quote]

The standard car is 5ft 9 1/2 inches high 1765mm (with sat nav roof pod) and with roof rails its 6ft high 1830mm. Jjust wondered out of interest how many drivers of Freelander 2s know the height of there car as I use one multi storey carpark where the headroom is 5ft 11 inches max, giving me 1 1/2 inches clearance but if I had roof rails ouch!
My sister has a Freelender 2 also and she said she hasnt any idea and just flies into the carparks, fortunately its not become a convertible as yet. Rolling Eyes I was only wrong once and thats when I thought I was but wasnt.

That's very interesting re P&O - I'm fascinated as to why they set the lower limit - are their deck heights really lower. I'd have thought that ship builders would have set standards as ferries are somewhat modular built.

However, that aside I personally do not sail with P&O anymore after I discovered they pay their Asian cross-channel crews only 25% of the wage of an EU crew member for the same job. An example of modern day slavery Evil or Very Mad

I think they are discussing it's height and length

Could you pop out and measure it with the bumper cover and everything else it might be usfull info to a potencial buyer Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Will do in the morning though I would say the bumper cover adds around 3 inches to the front & kind of works well with the Driving Lamp units.

In a way I don't really now want to sell it as it has been fabulous in the weather but with the legal situation regarding my deceased business it could mean that I could lose my MG Express Van works vehicle which is a one off & simply irreplaceable & the thought of that is a no go option as they could say that you could use the FL2 & therefore don't need the van. That van has a huge amount of sentiment attatched to it & I do not intend losing it!
That said in terms of auction prices the van is probably relitavely worthless to anyone who is not in the know! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
