Hi
Just wondered why so low on average MPG ?, I have been running mine since early september and I am averaging 37.5, I have done around 6000 miles and am quite impressed with its economy.

Do local runs mainly not longer motorway type and live and work local too, it takes me longer to defrost than to drive to work The 1/2 mile Laughing

When I do longer runs I get 30 - 31 normally, often 28 due to chasing down BMW drivers in the fast lane Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Hi npinks, is your car a TD4 or petrol?

Am looking at geting a TD4. However my driving patterns sound similar to yours, and if there's not much in the average MPG then I might go petrol.

Td4 auto Thumbs Up

The manual i had first was better on the mpg , used to get 400 mile per tank and it wasn't one of this stop start manuals which are supposed to give better mpg too Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

England 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Fuji White

Just totalled mine over 11500 miles, calculated average mpg is 33.41

Very pleased so far.

My last D3 auto averaged 25mpg (calculated) over 16000 miles. I’d be horrified with your figures npinks Big Cry A Land Rover owner since 1988
