Hey everyone. Hope the Christmas plans are coming together for you all.
Wee question about my recently acquired 07 td4 se.
Twice now, on cold mornings about -10, the car has struggles to start. It chugs away and sounds like it is going to catch then doesn't and keeps chugging away. The dash info centre flickers a bit nd the it finally started after about 15sec and the wee info thing said "transmission fault, traction reduced special programs off"
This was there only for a second and cleared. I could still select all the tr programs. When turned off again, it restarted easily with no messages. The message never flashed up at any point when driving.
Is this just due to the bad starts you think? There's no groaning etc from the car.
Any thoughts? Just a bit concerned.
Cheers, iain As a man thinketh, in his heart so is he
