Hi AlterG congrats on your new car, hope you enjoy it. If you haven't already done it get yourself on the LR Experience to really find out what your car can do.

I tried to get the LR Ipod connection but it is apparently out of stock and at the end of October I was told not expected back in for several months.

I went to Amazon and bought this Kensington LiquidAUX For iPhone And iPod which comes with both a power and an Aux connection and a remote control ( stop, pause, shuffle, next or previous track) which you can either fit on the steering wheel in the holder provided or as I have done beside the radio with a bit of double sided tape.

With regard to the cubby box/armrest, my car came without armrests so I fitted the armrest from Britpart, lot cheaper than the one from Italy and very good quality and a simple one screw fitting. Only took my local Britpart supplier 2 days to get into stock.

I got full set of LR rubber mats with the car and in this weather they are certainly better than carpet mats.

I bought my mats from Hunters LR Kings Lynn, through ebay, they were delivered next day. I think they were £68 ish. Worth spending extra for LR ones as they have high ridges to keep all the mud and water contained......and lets face it anything with LAND ROVER in bold writing on it is going to sway you. 2007 HSE, Auto, silver...gone but never forgotten.
