Ignore CG going on about black paint (yawn) Laughing

Depends what you want. I am not fussed about privacy glass and I love the GS wheels so much I have no desire to change them.

Just don't get a towbar otherwise you will feel the ultimate power of a chicken george rampage! Rolling with laughter

Then its definitely worth getting a tow bar fiited Laughing Remember there are never problems, just new challenges

Got it - love it. By serendipity my tomtom took us home from the dealers via country roads that were single track and coated in about 3 inches of snow. The S Max I had just left would never have made it, but we felt brave in the FL and just went for it. Turned on the snow programme and it just went, so easily and amazingly secure.

Couple of queries. It's a GS but the stereo has FM and digital on the same button. The manual implies that this means it has DAB but repeated presses do not cycle to DAB as the manual also implies.

Someone said it had a first aid kit, where is it?

all in all though - first impressions - awesome Very Happy

England 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Baltic Blue

The digital button refers to digital tuning not DAB. On a DAB fitted radio you will cycle through FM1, FM2, DAB1 and DAB 2. On a standard radio you will only get FM1 and FM2.

If there is a First Aid kit it will usually be under the rear luggage mat where the spare tyre would be if you had one. First Aid kits are not standard on UK spec vehicles but that doesn't mean you won't have one. You might also find a warning triangle in the same place as well.

My MY11 XS also has a misfueling device and the reset lever for it lives in the tyre well also.

Glad you like it, on my second and still find it awesome.

England

It will only have DAB if factory ordered as it uses a secondary module-the side windows in the boot houses the FM antenna and the DAB antenna see if both antennas have wires attached to 'press studs' then it is fitted, If only one has a wire on you only have FM Thumbs Up

Never heard of the first aid kit before-unless it's a new addition Question
