I've had my Freely 3 weeks and only now noticed a faint light on switch on, up by the rear view mirror/interior light thingy, apparently it's illuminated in orange telling me the passenger air bag is off.

So anyone who has bought second hand without a paper manual look at the online manual on how to switch the air bag back on if it was disabled due to a child seat fitted with the previous owner.

Your wife/whoever may not be too pleased to know she's been sitting there with no air bag protection.

There was a long discussion on this recently. The sign will illuminate (like all warning lights) when ignition is switched on, but should then go out. If it stays on then the airbag is switched off.

Unfortunately it's in a crappy position and mine had been illuminated constantly in orange for 3 weeks and I never noticed it So I looked at the switch and it was set to off, just a case of not knowing where everything is and not having an owners manual I suppose.
