I guess it depends on your age and location. Mine is currently £237 fully comp for me and the wife, and this is with esure. Will change next year to Adrian Flux, he was only £40 more expensive but that will cover me for off-road use too which esure doesn't. ______________________

Things can only get better I suppose the liverpool postcode and only three years NCB (I was distracted) will help. It just P****s me off that qoutes are so wildly different. in the mean time I am loving the FL2 and dont think I will ever change gear again! |

I'm with Direct Line, and despite the normal slagging they get, have to say they did a pretty good job for me when my first FL2 got written-off, albeit it took 6 weeks, but I don't think others would have been much quicker.

Got really p ed off with elephant after the hassle with the auto box (a non standard item), the privacy glass (a non standard item, what is privacy glass for....), metallic paint, etc. So I changed to Admiral (yes, I know it's the parent company of elephant, but at least Admiral does not have Indian Elephants). So, I now have a multi car policy with Admiral...£184.44 fully comp for the Daihatsu for the missus and me, and £240.15 for me and the missus fully comp when the current elephant policy runs out in September 2008. Freelander 2 GS Auto black + privacy glass

Liverpool Victoria , through Whatcar came out at £248 for me and the missus it includes all of Europe fully comp without needing a green card, most policies are only third party in Europe and you need a green card and you need to notify them of when and where you are going and it also covers a courtesy car without notifying them at any time .This could be very useful for some unlucky owners |
