I don't think that is a reasonable price. I told my dealer I'd get it done at my local garage which will be half the cost. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE auto Tonga Green/Alpaca |

I paid £288.32 inc VAT for my 3rd year 45000 mile service at a LR dealership. But that was December 2009. They also wanted £65 for the brake fluid change, so after the service was done, I tool it to the Vauxhall dealer I know and trust, and they did the brake fluid for £29.

I have heard it said that LR do not actually state the brake fluid has to be changed on a three year service but it should be checked for moisture content Does anyone know if there is any truth in this |

If you've got a manual g/box, get the clutch fluid changed every 3 years. No matter what they charge.

£85 pound is about the same as another main dealer i know, its half an hours labour plus the brake fluid and i agree if it is a manual definatly change it every 3 years, most other makes of vehicle's have brake fluid changed every 2 years so every 3 years is a good time scale |

It's also the same ballpark cost other manufacturers charge.
