In the last 18 months this has happened at least three times, all the center consul goes off, and SatNav needs "I agree" to resume.

Mine jumps out of double screen map mode into "Lontitude Latitude" screen. But I care not, more concerned that it does not give a picture of the approaching roundabout and all the exits instead of a circle with a number in the middle. Had exactly the same fault,it took my local LR dealer nearly a week to track down the fault,a lot of input from LR Technical Dept I think.Turned out the amplifier on the "info-tainment" system needed a software upgrade but every time this was attempted the update program crashed. To overcome this they took the amplifier out of my car, fitted it to a new model, updated it,then transferred it back, problem solved.Software not covered by extended warranty though, total bill was £68.00inc VAT,very reasonable considering they had the vehicle for about six days in all and they provided a courtesy car(new Fiesta) for the whole time. Can't fault their service. Happened to me, exactly the same. Had been driving 5 hours plus. 4 times it reset in about the last hour of driving. |
