The Special Programmes Button.

If you select a special programme obviously given this weeks weather the "Grass,Gravel,Snow" option is it supposed to remain in that mode select every time you turn the car off & start it again until you manually select a different mode?

Reason I ask is that 3 times over the last few days I have been driving & thought how good the car is in the snow, probably helped by the special programme only to look down to see it was in the "Normal Driving" mode everytime Question (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

slightly incorrect in what you say there Wink

it actually should stay in the selected TR program for 6(?) hours before going back to the default setting

Though my first FL2, had the same problem of reverting back straight after a restart, (not good when offroading)and needed a software update, or was it a replacement switch, I can't recall at the moment. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Yes the terrain response system should stay in the requested setting for up to 6 hours after the ignition is switched off.
I have been using the snow setting and it does reset itself to the default after 6 hours.
Touch wood mine has been faultless in the very deep snow.
Good luck
