Centre Console storage.

Just picked up my FL2 from Marshalls, Melton Mowbray. It had been booked in from a previous weeks FREE complimentary 24 point check and software check/upgrade that they were running. To which I took the opportunity to point them in the right direction regarding the seat belt mod (Service Bulletin and part numbers) that the sharp Freel2 members (one step ahead of dealer) had shared with us. To be fair Marshalls carried out an excellent job, with the complimentary valet and wash to which i don't normally let them do but on this occasion, even though picked up in the dark, I haven't seen any nightmare swirl marks.

Anyway I waffle....I wanted to ask..... upon picking up the latest Fleelander 2 Blurb Brochure in the dealers one of the pictures showed the centre console having a sliding door compartment which seems to me a better looking, up market solution then the void empty space my 57 plate SE has. Probably been a feature a while has it? Is there any reason I couldn't source the part from a dealer and just pop it in, or have they subtly altered the design on later models so it can't be done?
