removing side steps

The FL2 I'm thinking of buying has side steps on it (OEM I think). I don't particularly want them. Anyone know how to remove them and how easy it is? I fancy taking them off and sticking them on ebay!!!

Finance sorted, just need to see the car in the flesh. It's down south at another branch.

Excited, worried, stressed and confused all at the one time! Smile As a man thinketh, in his heart so is he

removal is easy enough but will leave large holes in the under side of the plastic sill cover, either ignore the holes, fill them with black silicon etc or buy new sill covers.

or possibly organise to swap sill covers with the buyer of your steps.

see side tubes thread here,it mentions trim removal, you dont need a rivnut tool to remove tubes/steps.
