2011my Front Bumper on 2008 Model

Hi Guys Very Happy

Does anyone know if it is possible to put the 2011my front bumper (with the square foglights and new grill) onto the 2008 model?

Reason being is that i had a little bump Big Cry the other day and I now need a new front bumper and was going to ask the dealer to put the 2011my one on instead.

Cheers in advance for the replys

As I understand the changes aren't significant. You'll need:
New horns (they moved at 11my),
Possibly a reinforcement bracket between bonnet platform and bumper beam (not 100% sure on that though),
Bumper cover should use same fixing points.
Fog lamps are the same, just the surround changes.

Small print Exclamation
The above is what I understand the changes to be - you'll need to make yourself happy that all is ok before commiting.... Thumbs Up

Conversion complete, everything is a direct fit with a small bumper modification required to remove an unwanted lug.

You don't need new horns or a change of bracket. It is a simple job of removing one and fitting the other. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
