Radio/Sat Nav and Heating Malfunction at same time

Got in to my car yesterday, been running around after my son so thought i would put the drivers temp dial onto maximum cold as I was a little hot.

So turned the dial and instead of the car putting all the cold air into the front vents aimed towards me, it put it on to the windscreen, which is not what it normally does.

Just as I was saying i had sit on the dash board to cool down to the wife, the Radio & SatNav display including my phone conection all turned off and came back on a second or two later

Then to fans adjusted the airflow to the correct position all without me touching it

Has anybody else had the same problem?

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Tambora Flame

Not related to the a/c (as far as I know), but I've been driving along and the sat nav has suddenly made a very brief high-pitched squeek and gone off, along with the stereo. A couple of seconds later they came back on, as if they had just been switched on.
