Mine came with Land Rover approved extended warranty and shows as costing £464 for 1 year. I have had the car in a few times but never had to pay anything.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

I was in this dilema 12 months ago when ours was about to be out of warranty.

In the end I decided not to bother. Touch wood it hasnt come back to bite me in the arse! All we have had go wrong is a key failure and a boot switch, so all in all about £160 worth or repairs out of the warranty period this year.

It was interesting though as after looking into it, most of the after market warranty companies don't cover key failure as it is classed as wear and tear! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
