Volume of parkingsensors

Hi!

Does anyone know how to change the volume on the parkingsensors?
I can barely hear the rear ones......

You can't from what I was told on my first FL2

After having problems they had to replace the module and it's tone and loudness changed not much though

At least the parking sensors on her laydship's FL2 are working and loud Thumbs Up

I'm not a technical chap, but, is the volume linked to the amplifier that supports the vehicle's audio system. If so is your radio/cd on mute or low volume. Please don't bite my head off if this is a ridiculous totally incorrect line of thought.

try turning the volume knob while parking sensors are beeping, never tried it but it does work on some cars. this setting should then remain for every use. worth a minute of your time? At work

CG just sticks a live chicken onto his rear bumper and when reversing, nearing an object, the bird swawks loudly when too close.

Oh yeah, I forgot what a state he'd got the alloys in and then highlighted it here!

the volume on stereo tip didn't do the trick. Sad
Then I guess I'm left with the hearing aid tip....... FL2, TD4 HSE

I always found them rather loud on my 57 GS (particularly so when the initial tone was stuck on when water was over the sensors in the wet)..... perhaps it's an audio system thing... your 'posh' radio means it's quieter?

Have you checked if the front/rear balance adjustment makes any difference to the levels?

On mine the rear are a quieter deeper tone than the front sensors which are annoyingly loud 2010 FL2 XS Auto in Santorini Black with HSE alloys

When I test drove an FL2 back in early 2007 I noticed how quiet the rear beepers were, but when I got my 07 car they were much noisier. Not sure but think it is something that can be set initially pre-delivery.
