Can anyone help with advice on how to change the heated windscreen washer jets ?, I was adjusting one of them using a needle as advised with not a great deal of success and decided to try using a small screwdriver and have ended up pushing it virtually level with the bonnet. I now cannot move it so replacement seems to be the answer. |

I have changed one, since the needle I was using for adjustments broke inside the orifice. Mine was not heated, and all you have to do is to push it a bit towards the front of the car and upwards. Then you put your hand between the bonnet and the insulation to remove the fluid supply elastic hose. For the heated jets you have to disconect the power suply as well. |

Thanks for the information, when I tried to see how the jet came out it moved slightly clear of the bonnet so I had a better view of the faulty jet, I decided to have one more try to move it, bent two pins and then snapped a needle in the jet. I decided to give up and drive down to the local stealer and buy a new jet, pressed the jet back into the bonnet, got in the car pushed the washer switch and the broken needle was ejected and the jet is back in perfect alignment. |
