Surely this will make a dent on FL3 sales? The only saving grace would be that the FL3 will be able to go on the rough stuff whereas the 5dr Evoque is purely for the tarmac of WAG land. |

Compared to some of the ugly crap (in the same class of vehicle) being produced today, it looks quite smart. However it will be the price that makes or breaks it as a best seller. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Hmmmmmmm. Not sure what JLR are trying to do. Make a FL2 even smaller on the inside? Looks a bit like.......

Ahhh a Ford Flex. We rented one of those this summer in the US. Nice to drive but at 17 foot long wouldn't fancy going off road in one. Andyfr |

Loks like a large mini countryman, and I don't like that either! |

First glance I also thought Mini Countryman, they were a bit before my time though, but I have seen a picture of one |

Evoque looks very nice, really like the seating inside & the sportyness of the exterior (Dynamic model I think).

That's exactly what I said when I rang LR last week asking if it was going to be on show at the Classic Car Show! If that's the case I can't see it being a big seller then as a Range Rover Sport can be got for around £45K. If you want the LR brand then why buy a smaller vehicle than a Freelander that costs more. It's not as if the quality will be any different! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red. (Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red. Well you could wait and get one of these, should be a bit cheaper than the Evoque and a lot smaller

Perhaps that is what he was refering to though I doubt it as we were talking about the LRX as it was known as then! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
