Just wondered if anyone here had tried this? Is it worth doing? |

It certainly won't hurt, but the way they produce cars these days, it's not often you see a rusty one, so is it really worth it? Gone are the days of the Datsun |

Ah the 120Y. Wasn't that the "Sunny"? Sort of a fastback pretend coupe? We Don't Care About Pot Holes !! |

I think they named it the "Sunny" later. |

The extra weight of the Waxoyl would probably 'ruin' the fuel economy! |

A very good product, used it on my Mk 2 Escort RS2000 in 1979, I thinned it slightly with "duck oil" and sprayed it on. Care had to be taken not to block door drain holes with thick wax if doing doors from inside. We did many customers cars with this and being a seaside town this certainly slowed down the evil rust.

Waxoyl took me back, but "Duck Oil" takes me back even farther. God I feel old. |

yes totally agree with all comments, used Waxoyl in a similar way in the 70's ( great product ) but modern cars do not need it at all. Iain |
