Once i bit the bullit and cut off the little spike on the underside, the box slotted in a treat. There are 2 holes in the bottom of the box, one of which is useless but the other lines up perfectly with a hole in the centre console. I got hold of two black self tappers and secured the box, the second self tapper was simply glued in place to fill the hole. Looks like it has always been there and is a good easy job.

Dont know why the 'little spike' is there on the underside of the box and neither do the dealers.

It's not stuck down just tight fitting, Get a small flat head screw driver with a thin cloth over the head down one of the sides and prize it upwards
