Has anyone used the optional extra Ashtray that fits in the centre console for storing coins. Is it ok for small change and if so where is the cheapest place to buy one? 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4.Zermatt Silver,Privacy glass,Bi-Xenon headlights........Gone!

Interesting that you had to "order" a Smokers Pack. If that had been the case here in CH her ladyship would have said NO - and - then we would not have got those two black "Starbucks Coffee Mugs" (her words not mine) coin dumps. Interestingly our LR dealer removed the cigar lighter and replaced it with an auxiliary plug to match the rear one. He must have guessed she'd have been furious to see a fag lighter in her car. |

You should be able to find one on ebay for about a fiver plus p&p, as mentioned check out the Ford Ashtray - its exactly the same! |

A (pre-digital) plastic 35mm film roll box serves the same purpose and saves stealing a mug holder space. Now I know why it was worth holding on to those things.

Got mine off ebay for a couple of quid. Seller (8872kate) often has them on there. Fits spot-on |

yes Mrs G always finds 'emergencies' to spend those coins on, and never replaces them At work At home "I can't always believe facts I read on the web" - Charles Dickens winner by default of the tractor vs caravan race |

I wanted it to store coins for car parks etc as it is easy to get to the exit when you have no coins within pockets. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
