Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Fuji White
Patiently!!! Waiting

SD GS due 1st week December. Zermat with winter pack. Local specialist tints all windows including LEGAL front tints which reduce UV by 70% for £180. This is essential as I have a poor tolerance to UV, factor 60+ cream even in dark winter morning.
This will be my 3rd FL2 Auto. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

Fronts are done with a tint which is JUST within legal limit. The rears a bit darker. The UV factor is the important one. All FL2's (3) Gone

Front sides must be a clear film as I was informed that the standard factory tint is already at the legal limit - unless of course, you know different Bow down

Was assured they were legal, and company is well respected. Does lots of work for local Audi and BMW as well.

On subject of tints, around 2004/5 (if memory is correct) a few MOT stations in south west Scotland had owners of Range Rovers with factory tints coming from N.Ireland for an MOT. These cars had factory tints and failed the MOT in N.Ireland. The test centres are goverment run and test to exactly the same standards as rest of UK but they do use a LUX meter. We only used a fail "vision impaired" by our own judgement.
I am retired last 4 years so things may be different. All FL2's (3) Gone
