Belgium 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

My mate keeps callinmg the car a Gaylander 2. (I hope this comment does not offend anyone, am sorry if it does).
I do not care as the wife drives it most of the time, but when i drive it i just think it is so smoth and I can be behind the wheel for hours on end. A great car and would buy it again tom Thumbs Up

I guess it down to how we all look at cars. My mate also thinks the X3 is for girls, but I think it is an old (60 plus) mans car.

I think the only real mans car left today is an Isszue PickUp, because you have to drive it still. Thumbs Up HSE, Auto, Colour - Yes

I drove past the local prep school at chucking out time today saw 6 discos 5 driven by women, the 6th was towing a caravan so I helped him to save fuel by travelling extra slow in my tractor for three miles Whistle The driver was a rather angry man Laughing

I knew the FL2 aren't that good off road, but having to buy a tractor to make up for it is just mad. Disco 3 Owner looking for Freelander 2 as well

Driving off the road is nothing special, its just a means of getting from A to B, (B being my local boozer). I find that a ford ranger is a cheap and very effective way of doing this. I have noticed that the cars traction abilities are strangely down on the return trip and have had to resort to walking home and towing the car out of the mud the next morning Confused At work
At home

winner by default of the tractor vs caravan race

just got back from london,, impressed with the fuel economy,, impressed with the handling,, t impressed with maneuvering in tight spaces,, the visibility is very poor,, the D3 is much better,,

and really not impressed with the power steering now,, makes the journey very ...tense..

all in all very happy with it though...

oh,,, and i counted,,, WAY more women driving them then men...
