Well I'm happy to be in touch with my feminine side.

Hang on, maybe I am gay....

My wife and kids are going to be so hacked off. I bought it for all the wrong reasons... I thought it made me look all masculine, rugged, like I was ready to go out into the wilds, like a Cowboy, you know the ones in Brokeback Mountain... Big Cry

It's all a lie.... My life is all a lie.... Big Cry

I've bought a girls car... everyone is laughing and pointing.... Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again...

I think the new MY11 is more of a girly car. The front grill is not so aggressive and the boot handle is too blingy. The MY10 looks more mean! Twisted Evil LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

When I was in the dealership the other day they were handing over new cars. The people who bought a Freelander got a bunch of flowers and a discount voucher for www.ladyinsure.co.uk and the people getting Discovery's got an invitation to a full days off roading day with wilderness survival training. Disco 3 Owner looking for Freelander 2 as well

At best it is a bit of a unisex car but I have to say, it's more girly than a D3 or an RRS.

That said, I've previously owned an MG TF and totally ignored all that girly nonsense, that was a great little driver's car regardless what anyone said, I've no doubt I'll be just as happy when I get my paws on an FL2.

AD15 makes a good point though, I loiter on Disco3 too and have already been invited along on a Grenlaning day despite not having one yet, they do seem quite keen to get them mucky lol. Whistle

Now, go on guys, someone offer me a go of theirs to top out the offers of being a passenger from Disco3 lol. Laughing Blue

I know when greenlading they can't go mob handed but if they have space for a freelander

Post the details and you never know somebody might take you up at the chance to be a passenger

If you guys do a meet anywhere in the northern part of the country (or somewhere like Tong for example) I'd definitely be up to tag along as a passenger and contribute towards fuel etc. I'm based in Sunderland so ideally would need to be within a couple of hours from here probably.

I've been keeping an eye on the Events section on here but haven't seen much going on within a sensible distance! Blue

Slightly off topic (But quite a Manly thing to do)

Hi Blue you just missed out on a Northern get together, we had a nice cuppa at CG’s and a tour of his manor, then a few of us went for a tour round Sutton Bank and on to Kepwick and up on to a green lane full of large puddles that crossed the Cleveland way.

Must admit I have been lurking over on the Disco 3 site and would be up for some more Greenlining. I’m keeping my eyes on their events page as one of the regular’s has suggested doing some non damaging Greenlining that would be suitable for the FL2

Actually I think I may have just been joining up at the point that one went ahead, but I have a feeling I was probably joy-riding with the Z4 forum that weekend though (which is also tremendous fun but in a different way Wink ) Blue
