Hi toeknee,

I have been looking at these spots, but there seems to be no mounting brackets to fit them to the body.

http://www.4x4at.com/product_info.php?id=4...uct_id=146

When I was younger mk 3 Escort day's I had a pair of Hella 550's and there where great on the country road etc. May be just wanting to re-live my youth / or bling up my Fl2 ??? Rolling with laughter

I’m the same, use to have Cibe’s on my escorts, it dose make a difference though. I have changed the bulbs over to the Phillips xtreme and found it made quite a lot of difference, however still think a couple of spots would make some of the country lanes a lot brighter.

Still looking but haven’t found anything other than the ones in the link and according to Team Valley Land Rover the are not compliant as the need to talk to the Disco 4’s ECU.

Might be worth trying to get hold of Ten for Cash (TFC ) over on the Disco 3 site as I think he mat be able to advise

PS nothing wrong with a little bling Laughing

I will keep searching and I will keep you updated. Not to bothered about the wiring .

if I use High power bulbs ?
I will make my own wiring harness to suite I had to do this years ago, the standard wiring on the ford had a 3.5 volt drop on hight wattage bulbs.
I used the ford wiring to trip the new relays which then powered the spot lights, every thing was fused as is should have been.

Of topic sightly, how did he make the winch fit to the front of this FL2. ???

Here is one with lights fitted. The picture is from a Swedish sale-site. In my opinion, it looks ugly with lights like that in the front. I`m thinking of fitting a Vision-X light bar on the roof, instead of my big Lightforces I had on my previous car, Mazda Tribute.

Cheers, all!

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green

Can't think for a second why you'd want such dreadful lamps unless you drive through a forest.
Apart from pi Censored ing off drivers coming in the opposite direction.
And why do so many drivers use front fogs when there is no fog?

Or is it 'look at me' i'm a dickhead!!

Probably Rolling with laughter

Yes I with you all the way with the Censored Censored who drive with the fog lights on ( front and rear) at any sign of rain or a dark night.
And yes the photo of the FL2 above with the pop lights LR do and then 3 spot dose look dreadful,
Thats why I,m looking for something better. not to blind other driver's
( because that's a again's the law)
I'm after better lights for country road and light of roading etc ???
All the best
