Yup, I remember reading elsewhere on this site that that feature was exclusive to European models. US models were not getting that feature- something about legal constraints in the US. Figures. Would've been nice, though.

I agree it would have been nice for the US market to have the folding mirrors

I have just searched online and have found the reason is

"The reason the all new model Land Rover FL2 has had folding mirror excluded is due to the lack of exercise within the US of A.

The current goverment believes by not including these on new model vehicles the drivers will be forced to increase the amount of exercise they do, mainly by having to lean and reach further out of the vehicle when purchasing drive through McDonalds"

npinks ...have you looked in the mirror lately Shocked we could all do with losing a few pounds Wink .. a trip down the dealership to disable your mirrors ...no more gym fees Thumbs Up

I would look in the mirror but everytime I get out my car, the mirrors close

Both mirrors started to make a lot of creaking noises, I pointed this out ti the technician when the car had its first service - both mirrors were replaced, they're still running very smooth at the moment.
