England 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Baltic Blue

If you look at the downloadable price list for MY11 on www.landrover.co.uk it states on Page 2 under Suspension and Driving Dynamics that Terrain Response is standard on S models. I agree the brochure does not reflect this.

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red

Local dealer confirms this also. Apparently to compete with Honda at a price but then you have to ask why GS? LR obviously expect this as they do not offer PCP on S and finance therefore higher per pound - quoted 13.9 on 'S'.
Looks like a good option to me - order S then spec up as suggested. Should make it more saleable in future???

Had a drive in a new 150 GS manual over the weekend.
Can report that engine is quieter, seems to pull better from sligthly lower revs without the big push that I seem to get from my current GS (0Cool but the biggest improvement seemed to be the ride - its good in mine but seemed to be a lot better in the new one - much smoother. Road noise on the same tyres also seemed to be less. Mine only has 23,000 miles - demo had 40miles on clock. Whether these differences will improve off road ability then I do not know. Steering and Gear change all seemed lighter than mine but not in a bad way - self centered nicely and didn't wander.
Other than that not many changes internally - change up light, new cloth on seats etc. Lower RFL on manual and I am told variable length servicing depending on how you drive - should all help keep the maintenance bills down.

Tempted to change if can make the figures work for me.

Anyone else been out for a ride yet???

Anyone supply a price for my 08 GS - 23,000 miles?? There's always a way forward!
