United States 2008 LR2 i6 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver
Windshield Washers

I love my LR 2, but, does anyone know of a different windshield washer that will replace the factory ones. I am disappointed in the factory ones spraying two streams of fluid instead of a broader spray that covers more of the windshield. It seems a higher end car like the Land Rover should have more efficient washers. Question Doug

2008 Land Rover, LR2 HSE, Zermatt Silver, technology and lighting packages, 19" wheels.

Just two streams of screen wash Question

There's four wash jets hitting the screen of her ladyship's FL2 MY2010. And they keep clean approximately 90% of the windscreens surface. I'd rate them as very effective (area cleaned) and efficient (fluid consumption).

Speaking of VW Golf's.
Found myself behind a Golf this afternoon and in it's rear screen was the statement: 2 Airbags + ABS.
Now why would anyone wish to advertise that fact?

Hypothetically,
(now we really need a smiley for that!)...

If you hit it up the arse, it' wouldn't lock it's brakes, therefore, less damage to the Freely, AND you have the bonus of taking out the rear two passengers, (assuming the 2 fitted airbags were in the front) Thumbs Up

NO - L2 was freed by counter revolutionary force's coms personal on 29th Sept - please keep up with developments. L2 will in due course release her memoirs of her incarceration at the hands of those pinky commies, and no doubt that will be turned into a Hollywood movie funded by religious capitalist mercenaries starring Scientologist Tom Cruise in the lead role of L2. He's yet to work out that she's not a he - but that's no surprise coming from a guy who believes in spacemen frozen in mountains waiting to be released.

-o0o-

It's saturday morning and it's bereft of the usual family chaos that challenges one's senses - sorry.
