United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Santorini Black
Farewell old friend

I reluctantly had to part with my 57 GS auto earlier this week in part exchange for a Ford Galaxy Ghia auto. Big Cry

My wife has had increasing difficulty getting in and out of the FL2 due to the height, and the seats were (due to the 'bucket' design) becoming less and less comfortable for her. The mobility scooter she now needs in the boot also made loading everything for the caravan in rather 'tight'.

I'll really miss this forum (well I might lurk in the back form time to time) as the wealth of knowledge, freely given with good humour has been amazing. Bow down

Best wishes to you all and continue to enjoy one of the best cars I've ever owned. Thumbs Up

Stats: We did 14,070 miles of its total 23,500 on the clock of which 3,850 were towing 1500kg behind. Overall average MPG was 27 dead on the button.
