Well we are 19 days in to the new Foggy 2 and been and got the new tax disc to swap over the old plates tonight and picked up the rubber mats too!! Have now got over 1100miles on the clock and pleased to say (hope I am not tempting fate??) she is running like a dream, no warning beeps that should not be there, loud parking sensors are great, no locking phone or satnav, no none starts, no transmission faults, no adaptive headlight warnings, working power fold mirrors, auto open and close windows all OK, no creeking manual gear lever as now autobox, B pillar seems intact at the moment (too soon to tell), stereo always on when needed, does not go to mute on its own, or lock up when phone rings, no rattles squeeks , clonks, bangs, perfect road manners, wicked acceleration......if she was a woman, it would be every part of every woman you fantasised about in one...obviously I have that too in Mrs Fraz but this is what owning a car should be about.......pleasure, excitement, needs, wants, everthing satisfied!!!!

Well its fitted guys, the dvd and Freeview, so posted some pics of the various aerials, remote receivers and screens. Picture on Freeview is great but north of Bedford can get a bit hit and miss on the way to a caravan dealer at Wellingborough. The sound is transmitted through the 'aux audio' via a little switch so get the benefit of the the full Alpine surround sound in the car or flick the switch and the sound diverts to headphones....trouble is car going back to ICE specialist on Monday as getting the transmission 'whir' throught he headphones ...as per the Landy type we had fitted to the first car. The Ice guy said this noise should definately not be there, so they will inspect tomorrow. After the interior was stripped out we do have a squeek!!! Found it to be the cradle for the DVD player under the passenger seat so that will get sorted too....otherwise yeh its great. Value for money???? too early to say, lets see how often it gets used?? The TV was only a couple of hundred quid compared to the DVD player so out of it all I think that is the best value bit. Compared to Land Rovers version for over a grans and all you got was headphones and screens then yes it is good value. |
