Xenon bulb upgrade?

hi all,

Has anyone one upgraded there xenon bulbs?

Thinking about these but concerned that they may hurt the ballests or something?

I upgraded mine to 6000k, got from
http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/ for around £50 and no problems its been for over a year now. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

Is it worth getting some H7 main beam bulbs to go with it?

Thats lot better price then I paid year ago, must be one of the best price for a D1S.
I have Osram night breakers. Its colour is lot less yellowish then the std ones and you tend to see the yellow colour more with 6000k xenons. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

I think the blue colour bulbs don't look nice, kind of stand out in thehead light (when off). Osram bulbs I have is mainly white with a small blue colour ring at the top end, so dont look too bad, but I would have prefered a clear bulb (which means less white light). Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

Planing on going for the 5000K.
on the highbeam I would go for the Philips X-treme H7. Imo the best halogenbulb out there. FL2, TD4 HSE

Just checked their website, they don't list anything suitable for a FL2 shame FL2 HSE Sumatra black with body kit

Just taken your advice and ordered a pair £21.95 inc delivery from Amazon, will let you know what they are like when I've fitted them FL2 HSE Sumatra black with body kit

OK so all fitted! i'm quite please with the xenons they seem nice and bright white! As for the other bulbs on not so sure they dont seem very bight :S
