Wheel bearing issues - again!!

I don't know if this has been posted by anyone else other then me, as the search engine doesn't seem to find much.

My front nearside wheel bearing failed at 25k miles and my Dad's 2009MY has failed on rear nearside at 7,500 k miles!! Shocked LR are saying it's a rare failure. My experience tells me otherwise!!

How many of you have had wheel bearing issues?? Thumbs Up Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

I had the same problem at 28,000 miles on the N/S/R Shocked - only a small amount of play but the noise was driving my nuts. (TVLR sorted it in no time Bow down Bow down Bow down
(the part number for the bearing is the same the FL1) did there have the same problem ?? Confused

I had the same problem with F/N/S, which was resolved without issue. However, the local dealers had my Dad's car for two days. and then told him they had been unable to change the bearing, as the sixth tool of six, required to do the change, was missing Shocked

SIX TOOLS - WTF. They must employ staff with lots of hands to work on the FL2 Laughing

Anyway - the car came back and it's still making the same noise. It's gotta go back again. I think I'll ask to see all these tools, as I've changed wheel bearings before and it certainly didn't take six tools. However, with LR - who knows......................I'm slowly losing faith in them Sad Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass
