Yes I know, a bit of a strange one! Basically i've been living in Ukraine for the last 5 years and will be returning to the UK at the end of the year. At present I have a 2008 FL2 HSE (Ukraine spec LHD) diesel, stornoway grey, Xenon, Alpaca leather, engine pre-heater, privacy glass, panorama roof etc. etc with 17,000 km on the clock and am basically looking for the same in RHD. It would be much cheaper all round to do an exchange with someone looking for a LHD. Please pm me if you want more details - as I said it will be a few months until I'm ready to sell but I am flexible.

there are a good few LHD UK car sales websites about now. I am currently looking to replace our golf and buying a LHD in the UK looks like the best option, i am sure you will have no problems getting rid of her in the UK as LHD stock of cars seem to move quickly.

Thanks for the replies. I have contacted some LHD specialists in the UK and they are interested in buying the car. The reason for wanting the swap is because I will lose money in selling to a dealer when I sell the car and lose money again when I buy another car. The other option is to sell the car in Ukraine but that might be a problem as the car is registered as a diplomatic vehicle and therefore would have to have import tax paid on it. However, Alexi, do you think that this would be a problem? If not, maybe we can discuss this further.
