LR2 Coolant Type -- What brand can I use?? HELP!

Help Please! I need to add coolant to my LR2 and am very confused. I did not know coolant was so specific to type of vehicle and that 'color' is so important. Can I use Prestone 50/50 Prediluted Antifreeze/Coolant? It says it is for all makes, all models of cars adn light trucks and can be added to any color antifreeze. My warning message has been on for a while and now I am afraid to drive without doing something and I live hours from a dealership.

I would not say that colour is that important persais, but you do not really want to mix colours or you would end up with who knows what !!

choosing coolant correctly is important as the wrong one wont prevent internal radiator problems , electrolysis etc. different anti freezes may react together if mixed .

I've just had a £500+ bill for a new tractor intercooler despite using the correct coolant, the old one was bunged up with greeny/yellow slimy stuff due to electrolysis, the fitter explained Confused He showed me earth points on the radiator, intercooler and oil cooler on the tractor to try and prevent the electrolysis, but said it still happens and warned me of the folly of poor antifreeze chioces.

my problems were not on fl2 maybe, but its still the same chemistry At work
