Why would I have tasted the real thing?

Do I detect an underlying Homophobic current to this bullying behaviour towards me?

Pol Roger was Winston Churchills favourite champagne and he knew a thing or two about drinking Laughing , I don't think he drank chicken Censored though, oddly enough its a rare substance as birds don't pee.

Cue birds peeing jokes.......

your exact words were" eurrghh pol roger tastes like chickens Censored "

the only way you'd know that was to have tasted it,

and why all the homophobic accusations,, i've got plenty of gay friends and none of them drink chickens Censored that i am aware of,,

really have no idea why you keep accusing me of being homophobic...i've made as many homophobic statements as i have about being an astronaught,,,=NONE!!

birds dont have bladders to save weight for easier flying, all waste products are ejected out of the rear end, usually as they take off (not chickens obviously). Often they are above a newly polished car as they take off and the combined product ejected is particular corrosive ..leading us unto a paint protection topic and bringing the thread back on topic as it is a hit and run offence Evil or Very Mad At work

I have to admit that reply is pure genius!!

My two pennies worth on the escalated discussion regarding the garden centre incident is, that the get over it and deal with it attitude, because of the realities of the modern day police and justice system, is quite frankly, the wrong one to have. The overtone should be one of sympathy for our fellow member, because it's true that none of us would like it done to ourselves. I for one am personally hit hard when the 'unforeseen' bills of just a few hundred pounds come at you and I bet there's many with average pockets like mine in the same boat. Having a wrong committed against you in that context, can be even more of a bitter pill to swallow than the financial hardship though and I don't think it's unreasonable to expect help from the authorities with the offence.

Going back to the Barclays comment....could it be that the Police are wrong then and that the Garden Center would have to release the CCTV footage after all?

Thumbs Up kezman,,, i do believe you've hit the nail on the head..

as for the pollice etc,, i've moved on, we tried and tried at the time to get the footage, to no avail, even a friend of mine is very good friends of the manager and he couldnt prize it from them, it would point to it being her ( or one of hers) that did it..

my solution is to boycott that garden centre, it doesnt mean much but as i was a trade customer it adds up to a good chunk of business that i've taken to another garden centre, i also make sure when my customers ask about the dent i tell them where it happened...

two member of my immediate family are police, have spoken with them plenty about it,,, there's stuff all i can do,,

funny that some of my comments have been taken as homophobic..... yet some of the comments directed at me amounted to insults towards my family.. Confused

thanks for the support Thumbs Up

I Totally Agree, I DO have sympathy, There is nothing worse in life than being wronged and it does leave a bitter taste, I was merely saying It's probably best to move on to save your sanity and your health as there is obviously nothing positive regarding a favourable outcome for the victim of the crime. (Life sucks-we all know that!)

Even if it gets to court you don't always get compensated for the damage if you win, about seven years ago the vehicle I was in was attacked by a guy who was off his head on drink and drugs, the Boys in Blue arrested him at the scene (it took six of them to hold him down) Shocked among with other things he was also charged with was Criminal Damage to the amount of £1400 to the vehicle I was in, it went to coiurt and he was found guilty of all charges and ordered to pay along with a fine the £1400 damages to cover the repairs, he was ordered to pay £1.75 per month Rolling Eyes after two months the payments stopped and it we never received anymore, didn't bother to waste anymore time or money on it.

A druggie in our village went on a rampage and it took several bobbies to flatten him, they ended up parking a car on (over) him to make restraining him easier. nutter Rolling Eyes At work
