Only had my car since Monday, and paired my phone that morning. Every time i get in the car, I have to connect it. NOT re-pair it with the car, just tell it to connect.

It is possible - providing my bluetooth on the phone is switched on the phone connects automatically each time I get into the car.

On my phone, (Nokia something), I have a "Connect automatically without confirmation" setting. This does what it says and once paired, it will connect every time. It should be a standard Bluetooth option.

The Freelander bluetooth set up is absolute rubbish in my experience, your'e better off scrapping it & using a Parrot! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Automatic.....I could be sitting in my FL2 talking on the mobile, and as soon as I start the ignition the bluetooth kicks in and my conversation automatically switched to handsfree. |

It has paired up ok, is it not just a case of the settings in the handset, the automatic connection is in the Trusted Devices, unless you have set the Trusted Devices it will ask you each time |

The car will connect to the LAST phone it connected, provided the bloototh is on on said phone. If the last phone connected is not yours, you need to chose it from the menu. |

I agree with WDCAPH, I have a Nokia E71. Had to "tell" the phone to connect automatically. Now, whenever ignition is on the phone pairs straight away. |
