Scotland 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Zermatt Silver

Hi Guys,

Should have said that before applying the Autoglym HD wax, I did my usual monthly wipe over with Autoglym Super Resin Polish on a damp cloth. In between, usually weekly, I use Showroom Shine on a damp cloth as wel.

Thanks for the heads-up on the AutoglymHD wax MacWallace. Tried it out today and yup, a really great finish. Even better than my previous favourite, Maguire's NXT!

Recieved my HD wax yesterday via e-bay, and yes it was £19.99 inclusive of delivery, and am a little confused.

Packaging talks of using AG high definition cleanser to remove ALL traces of wax, polish etc prior to use.

Is this really necessary??

Tenet, Everyone has their own method of applying polish/waxes but what I did was - wash the car, polish with Autoglym Super Resin Polish snd then applied a coat of Autoglym HD wax. That was in the morning. In the afternoon I applied a second coat of HD wax. Hard work but well worth it Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

£39.99 is the general retail price & £22 is less than the trade so I would question where the seller got it!

Extreemly good stuff. I have tonight just done my MG ZR-Express in Super Resin Poilsh & HD Wax. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Reasonable conditions today so gave the car a shampoo and then applied a coat of Autoglym HD - might not be pro standards but I'm pretty pleased with the result.

Supposed to get better with additional coats - nice.

Then I would be accused of having OCD - she thinks I'm mad paying £19.99 for the wax Wink MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

Agreed with comment on the tires.

So which tire gel would you recommend/has anyone used?

I use Gloss-it signature tyre Gloss

http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/gl...gloss.html

After trying a fair few I find this last longer looks more natural and more importantly it doesn't sling itself everywhere

BTW best to give tyres a scrub prior to using Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I use Autosmart Trim wizard, costs a few quid and lasts for a few weeks when on the tyre, does not sling off either. better than paying £22 + p&p to put on your tyres Rolling with laughter
