Interior LEDs in the UK

Has anyone change anyone of the interior LEDs in the UK?

I'm awful with LED types/ratings, and on using the search function the main LED thread seems to be some LED wizard from Oz.

I'm hoping someone could 'hold my hand' on tis and just point me out what LEDs I need (UK suppliers) for which interior lights.

Many thanks in advance. Very Happy

OK....after a bit of digging around, it looks like the map/reading light and the boot light I can replace with these:

Maybe something like this for the vanity lights/footwells/glove box/mirror and door puddle:

(do you guys think they will get too hot?)

Something like these for the lights to the side of the map/reading lights?

I changed all my interior lights with led's bought from ebay (all of them from Hong Kong - cheaper !). Only ones I couldn't get to work with led's was the door mirror puddle and the map reading lights - tried various led's but none worked in those locations !!
Also changed the sidelights (philips blue vision), headlights and fog lights (Osram + 100% xenon) bulbs. Thumbs Up

Is the map light the middle one or the two either side of it?

Roof lights work ok - it's just the separate map reading led's I couldn't get working (BA5s) and the door mirror puddles !

Ultraleds.co.uk part no. U426UCW (£7.49) is an easy replacement for the boot and rear interior light (above back seat) on my 07. They are mega bright so found an LED too harsh for the front interior - personal choice but I left the front standard

Found a local shop that sells LEDs (prefer to 'real' sell rather than online) and bought a load. Have changed all the festoon ones (silly me bought the shorter ones, but you can pull the copper holder out a bit to still securely)

w5w ones have swapped the footwells (simplest of the lot), vanity lights (got the most power ones in them), and puddle lights. Can't figure out how to take the cover off the mirror puddles lights. Glove box light I changed to a blue one, but on pulling the light attachment out, a springy piece of copper contact came off the switch and I can't figure out how to put it back (I'll get it sorted at the next service).

If I can get hold of another set of the really bright w5w then I change to back reg lights.

I bought a pair of LED BA9S (just really cheap basic ones to try out the fitting) but couldn't get them to work. Have order another decent pair from eBay..fingers crossed.

What the hell is wrong with BA9s LEDs? I've tried various sets and NONE of them have worked in the two little lights on either side of the front centre light. Sad

I'm crud at electrics and the only thing I can think of is that there's not enough amps (as bulbs are 12v) or that the polarity is the wrong way around.
