Sorry Guys! I have no idea how to get pics on this site. You will just have to take my word!! On the other hand you could try it for yourself. I bought mine on Amazon for £25, £15 cheaper than Halfords. And, to be honest, I used very little of the stuff so it should go a long, long way!! |

Think I may need some of that then. Made a big big mistake of putting my FL2 through the local car wash this morning as I had a lot on and thought it would save me time... And now it appears to have light scratches on the bonnet and front bumper.

telfire: Never use car washs, public jet washes or the polish chaps washing cars at the side of the road, thats a sure fire way to get swirl marks in the paint. Mer polish is poo, what you need is some poorboys Blach hole glaze (awesome stuff) and some HD wax. If youve got the cash get a DA machine polisher, like a meguiars G220 together with the Poorboys it will remove/cover the swirl marks and give you an ultra deep wet look shine. |

Must admit black is difficult to keep the swirls out.

telfire: The Autoglym HD wax will NOT remove the swirl marks, it wont even remove water marks it is just a wax. Get some Poorboys Black Hole its £12 can be put on by hand ( but better by machine) this will make the world of differance to the finish, then put the HD wax on top of that. |

Poorboys black hole won't removed the swirls either, it just fills them for the time being so you can't see the light reflecting. The swirls will still be there.

The super resin polish is loaded with fillers also, I've had good result with it myself, but it does not have enough abbrasives in it to worry about your paint if your doing it by hand, even with a machine you'll be more prone to a temperature related damage that burning through the clear coat down to the paint Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

I've managed to remove paint from several cars using super resin. And it was all original paintwork both solid and two coat metallic.
