s/w upgrade?

Now I'm puzzled .... what triggered you guys taking your cars back to the dealer for a software upgrade? How old are your FL2s then? Should I be doing the same? Confused  Life is not a dress rehearsal!

car was booked in for 15000 service and software update was automatically done at same time as were 3 recalls one to replace the gearbox oil breater pipe and one to fix the reversing sensors and one other to do with the audio I think.

Hi gang,

Just done a nice round trip from Aberdeen to Worcester and back again (998 miles) and was wondering what others were returning to the gallon ?

All motorway driving with cruise control 70mph - 32.7, 75mph - 32.7, 80mph - 32.7, 85mph - 32.7 seems like my trip computer is stuck on that figure Confused

Hi Dave

I've managed 41mpg on the motorway staying at 70mph according to the trip on driver info centre.
I am also keeping a log of all mileage and fuel used during ownership, and that comes out at 34.5 mpg overall.

Hi Paul,

Nice to know that at least one of us is getting a decent MPG Thumbs Up . I'm averaging about 30 - 31 around town back and forth to work. Big Cry

Recently checked my tyre pressures and they were down at 30psi, so this might have had something to do with it. Now got them pumped up properly at 34psi so will keep an eye on it as we are down to Worcester again in a couple of weeks and I'll report back here what I get.

Thanks to everyone for their MPG feedback. I was shocked that sticking to around 70 mph on the motorway had such a huge impact. Last week I did several trips from Newbury to Christchurch and back got 40.1 MPG on the computer and over the week it was 36.6 MPG Smile

Rovers, I can only dream of that MPG, mine also TD4 manual. Were you using the cruise control, or just a clever right foot Question ______________________
