Here are some pics of Freelander Day Tent + Tunnel

I bought Day tent and tunnel from Damon recently advertised here and used it for the first time at a dog competition yesterday. As there seem to be the occasional question about it, here are some pics and thoughts

Excellent quality (Tent is actually from Khyam).
Easy to put up as all poles are integral and have spring loaded joints.
Flexible usage as walls roll up, fly screens roll up etc
Tunnel zips in place of the back wall (optional) and is supported by 2 poles and joins the car either by roof rail clip or thumb screw to roof rail fixing on roof (mine were missing so improvised for the day.
Could easily be used for overnighting in if a groundsheet was used.
I like the integral skirt covering the rear bumper and the hole for a tow bar in the tunnel.

(yes, I know it wasnt all pegged out and I am sure it could be done better, but it was the first time up and with no breeze, I wasnt bothered at the time!! Laughing )

But put a landrover badge on it and hey presto! Thumbs Up

I have to say, for something like above, in the British weather it looks ideal

But to have a £450 pricetag is crazy, I wonder if they sell a cheaper unbranded one?

For £450 you could buy a large tent and park your car inside it, and still have change for the blowup bed, deck chairs and sleeping bags, not sure if you'll have the space to put them in the tent, but thats not the point Laughing Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
