IMHO, don't bother. I'm all for sidesteps, but the FL2 it isn't high enough, nor is the door big enough to climb inside off them. You will step over them each time you get out and if dirty they will get your trousers filthy.

Point taken......... what if as in my case have an elderly relative who you regularly transport? I know old wrinkly likes them as its easy to get in/out. the same would apply to young kids too . Second point, it eradicates car park damage from other car doors too.... I prefer to have them 2010 FL2 XS Auto in Santorini Black with HSE alloys |

It will when the opposing car door hits the step instead of your door......... I accept that some doors are higher than the step in which case you are correct........ if you park 'selectively' then you shouldn't encounter damage. 2010 FL2 XS Auto in Santorini Black with HSE alloys |

Like I say, I've had them on my Rangie, Disco and Rangie Sport, I would never not have them on these cars, but the FL2 just doesn't warrant them IMHO. Doors get damaged no matter what..... 2010MY Freelander 2 HSE Auto Santorini Black with Ebony Napoli Leather |

I step over mine. Handy when washing the roof though. And Mother-in-Law loves them (not often, luckily enough ). |
