Wondered if anyone has fitted OEM side steps to there FL2? The dealer prices are mickey mouse money at nearly £700 including fitting.

But theres a guy I've come across selling them on flea bay for £250 inc delivery which don't sound bad if there OEM steps.. But someone told me you need a rivnut tool to fit them? Any help or advice would be appreaciated. telfire

IMHO, don't bother. I'm all for sidesteps, but the FL2 it isn't high enough, nor is the door big enough to climb inside off them. You will step over them each time you get out and if dirty they will get your trousers filthy.

Point taken......... what if as in my case have an elderly relative who you regularly transport? I know old wrinkly likes them as its easy to get in/out. the same would apply to young kids too .

Second point, it eradicates car park damage from other car doors too.... I prefer to have them  2010 FL2 XS Auto in Santorini Black with HSE alloys

don't get me wrong, buy em/dont buy em its up to you . I have the side tubes myself.... just dont expect any door protection At work

I step over mine. Handy when washing the roof though. And Mother-in-Law loves them (not often, luckily enough ).
