A little clean of a 38yr Old
Thought I would share a couple of photos even though its not an LR
A friend did a spot of work for me at my house, and to return the favour he suggested I gave his new Campervan a wash and wax.
When I say new, it was new to him as he has just taken delivery of a 1972, Volkwagon Westfalia Campervan imported from from California a couple of years ago and striped down to have a bear metal respray and restoration by a local company based in York i Believe.
For something thats 38 year old it looks very well for its age
No high powered pressure wash on this one, just a good rinse with an open hose, washed with 2 buckets and Zymol Clear shampoo with a wool washmitt, then rinsed down, dried and onto protecting it.
We use Collinite 476s as the wax, Poorboys Wheel Sealant and Gloss It Signature Tyre Gloss for the tyres, I also treated the side and rear windows with the Carlack Glass Sealing twins after giving them a clay, fast glass wipe over first. He didn't want to do much inside as he is going to be having it overhauled so a good wipe down and then treated with Aerospace 303 Protectant.
It was very clean prior to me turning up, so i didn't bother with any before pictures

He only collected it about a week or so ago, so he's just been away for a weekend
His taking it down south for a couple of weeks, to cornwall so his not able to go to the Harewood house event
I've always thought they are cool, but they'll cost loads to maintain etc, never mind the price tag they get, this one was £16k i believe, and he said the chap had another for sale which was closer to £30k Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
