Land Rover Assist

A quick question:

When you have Land Rover Assist do I still need to specify a hire car from my insurance company in case of breakdowns/accidents ? I need the car for business use and even if something happens to the car they still expect me to get to work. Will Land Rover Assist give me a replacement car immediately if I breakdown or have an accident ?

Thank you !

Little tip I have learn't with LR Assist is call them if you have a breakdown, whatever happens Do Not Limp to the Dealer as it prolongs the time to get your courtesy car. Even if you are outside the entrance to the Dealer Do Not Enter call LR Assist. If you get to the Dealer they will assess your Freely and if it is a quick fix i.e. next day or so you won't get a car but if you call LR Assist you qualify straight away. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

In the event of an accident L/R won't be liable (mechanical breakdown only)-you would need to check your insurance documents for hire car cover.

LR assist will provide you with a car for any mechanical breakdown but not if it is your fault. I filled my old FL up with petrol by mistake and had to hire a car myself. Embarassed Simon
