Unprotected electrical wires in bottom of boot

My FL2 has a full size spare wheel and I use the little space(s) in between for depositing utensiles which I do
not know where to put else.
Inspecting the lower boot space after having removed the spare wheel, I have noticed that a bundle of electrical wires run directly under the bottom end of the boot, unprotected from mechanical "rubbing" (Carlfraz, I mean what I say)! So I have decided to protect such wires against mechanical damage. I have bought 2 meters of soft plastic 1/4" pipe insulation tubes and fitted the same over the unprotected wires. Now nothing can rub or vibrate and damage the wires, so avoiding possible problems at one point of time.

YF I am disturbed on both counts, one that my humour is deemed to be of a certain nature, and two that the wires are exposed!!!! Can't do much about the humour, but will check out the wires in the boot tomorrow once we have some daylight....thanks for the note Thumbs Up

Humor

CF, we all like your humor, it is refreshing and a pleasure to read (and interprete!)
So don't you worry, we look forward to everything you have to say.
By the way, Mrs YF was grinning and chuckling when she has read some of your comments.

I know... it's only a small step from there to discussing who makes the best round tins of boiled "travel" sweets and whether the loadspace cover can safely support the weight of a nodding dog AND box of tissues at the same time.

I bet they don't have these sort of conversations on the RRS forum, I bet it's all about drugs and rock'n'roll chicks on there.
